Lutron’s emphasis on functionality28 January 2011
ISE visitors will be able to see how Lutron’s GRAFIL Eye QS system can be integrated with its Sivoia QS shade solution and a KNX keypad.
Emphasising functionality and integration capability, Lutron will demonstrate how GRAFIK Eye QS can be integrated with the company’s Sivoia QS shades solution, occupancy & daylight sensors and a KNX keypad for meeting and conference room control applications.
But this won’t be the only focus of Lutron’s attention. For installers on the lookout for retrofit light control solutions, the company will exhibit its wireless Single AV Room Solution, including a GRAFIK Eye QS Wireless (linked by RF wireless technology to daylight sensors), Lutron’s Radio Powr Savr wireless occupancy sensor and its Sivoia QS curtain control system. In addition to demonstrating Lutron technology’s wireless capabilities, Single AV Room Solution is said to highlight the energy efficiency potential that can be built into any home installation.
Also on show will be the Lutron QS Designer software – which allows installers to lay out their lighting system onscreen and add components such as occupancy sensors and integration devices – and a fully-functional AV Experience Centre designed to demonstrate the increasing potential of Lutron’s HomeWorks light control solution.
Rounding out Lutron’s ISE plans will be an opportunity to see its new range of intelligent shading solutions: Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment and Roman Shades with CERUS (Cord Eliminating Roman Uptake System).
Andrew Bechgaard, head of marketing Europe and Africa at Lutron, commented: “We are committed to producing innovative products that offer our customers the best in energy efficient light control solutions. With the addition of KNX integration and we are offering installers and end users alike even more energy efficient, scalable, artificial and natural light control solutions.”
