Loewe's declaration of independence with new home cinema system

Enabling flexibility was a key objective for the new Individual line of LCD TVs, which include four screen size classes: 32, 40, 46 and 55in. The new range encompasses a host of options with regard to colour, design, screen size, sound and set-up options, multimedia, in-room integration and technical features.

Tailored to "non-conformists" seeking "premium equipment that can be configured in an individualised way", all Individual players feature LED backlighting, while the Compose version with contrast filter panel also offers intelligent 400Hz backlight control for even sharper contours on the models size 40in and over.

Sound comes from the individually selectable audio system, and Loewe offers solution to meet all requirements up to and including 7.1 (with the Individual Sound Projector). Optional wireless connectivity enables fast access to online content, while the integrated tuner allows for straightforward HDTV reception. Meanwhile, the Loewe Assist 1 (included as standard) or Loewe Assist Media (option) allow everything to be operated from one source. A variety of floor stands, wall solutions and racks are also available.

Contained in a striking minimalistic housing by Stuttgard-based Phoenix Design, the Individual range begins rollout with the Individual 40 and 46in models this month. The 55in version will follow in July, with the 32in available from August.

The Loewe Individual Sound Projector and extended Individual Rack System are also due for imminent launch, as is electrostatic technology for this product family.
