LINDY unveils programme for CEDIA members

The new scheme provides benefits including a dedicated CEDIA sales team, preferential pricing, advanced notice of new products and free access to pre-sales tech support. The development follows LINDY’s decision to join CEDIA last year, having achieved success with an expanding range of home technology connectivity products.

The new initiative will offer designers, installers and integrators a central resource for products including LINDY’s Fibre Optic HDMI Extender, which enables HD displays to be placed up to 300m from the HDMI source.

Mike Baker (pictured), sales manager of LINDY Electronics, commented: "Within a home environment each installation is different, often presenting a variety of issues that installers may not have come across before, which is where our pre-sales expertise can come in very useful. The team at LINDY deal with all sorts of connection conundrums everyday and invariably have the answer to solve most problems. In addition, this knowledge is also fed back into our product management team, who are constantly on the lookout for potentials gaps in the market, ensuring that our range of connectivity products keeps up with an ever-changing industry."

Assessing LINDY’s product objectives for the rest of the year, Baker told IE Residential: "In the second half of this year we will be focusing on value-for-money solutions, while retaining the high quality and reliable performance expected of the LINDY brand. Products include a new range of lower-cost Cat5 HDMI extenders and HDMI splitters, and the introduction of entry-level High-Speed HDMI cables. These additions to our range complement our recently launched Premium and Premium Gold High Speed HDMI cables and will provide AV, home cinema and digital signage installers [with] affordable alternatives for low budget installations."
