Lang focuses on projectors and training

An area of focus at ISE for Lang is the range of projectors it has available, and the training it provides to enables resellers and integrators to enable them to provide optimum service and support for their customers.

Among the projectors highlighted is a prototype of the Panasonic PT-RZ31 WUXGA 3DLP laser-phosphor unit, capable of delivering more than 20,000 lumens. It is said to be the first projector of its type, and is compatible with the DZ21/DZ13 optical system.

Also on show is a prototype of the Epson EB-L1405 WUXGA 3LCD laser-phosphor prototype with 8,000 lumens of brightness. Like the Panasonic product, it is due for shipment later in the year. Lang says that its price, given its image quality, will be very attractive.

Another projector being featured on the Lang stand is the Panasonic PT-RQ13. It is being used to demonstrate what the company claims are the versatility, flexibility and ease of use of Lang’s projector frames. The set-up is at the heart of a contest that Lang is running throughout ISE which challenges visitors to compete against each other to adjust a variety of images. Each day will see a winner, who will receive a prize.

The point of the competition, says Lang, is to highlight the range of training courses provided by the Lang Academy to support its projection offering. Events are, says Lang, increasing in their complexity and there is a real need for the intensive and continuous technical system training that the academy provides.
