Aavara: KVM for DOOH and residential11 February 2015
The new PB7000-PoE KVM system from Aavara offers Full HD HDMI video, multichannel audio, high-speed USB 2.0 and IR/RS-232 control signal broadcasting to multiple TV sets, displays or projectors over an IP network via IR remote control.
Its built-in Aavara AV Master Web Interface allows users to centralise control over multicasting or channel switching, making it easy and intuitive. It also supports third-party controller drivers from companies like Control4, Crestron, AMX and RTI.
The PB7000 should meet the requirements of high-demand residential applications, as a home AV matrix with 7.1 channel audio and 3D support, and 60fps video. The company claims it is also ideal for DOOH applications in commercial installations that demand higher video quality, analogue audio line outputs to support active speakers for public areas, and RS-232 to control the displays.
