Kramer forms alliance with Epson12 December 2017
Kramer Electronics and Epson Europe have announced a partnership aiming to offer customers a meeting and learning space display solution package.
The bundle includes models from Epson’s display solutions along with Kramer’s VIA GO enterprise-grade wireless presentation solution.
VIA GO is an advanced wireless plug-and-present solution that lets meeting participants easily and instantly present from any tablet, smartphone or laptop. Its built-in WiFi access point turns any existing or new Epson display solution into a versatile, wireless enabled BYOD environment. The VIA GO solution will work on all units in the existing Epson display portfolio, as well as new products including the latest EB-2 Series models.
“The pan-European Epson-Kramer alliance is exciting news not only for existing Epson customers, who can now add wireless BYOD connectivity and presentation to their meeting spaces, but also for new Kramer and Epson customers who get the best of both worlds – industry-leading display solutions coupled with cutting-edge, secured, wireless presentation technology” said Neta Lempert, VP digital business development at Kramer.
Hans Dummer, business unit director, Epson Europe, said: “It’s impossible to overestimate the importance of wireless connectivity throughout the technology sector – it’s no longer a feature, it’s an expectation. Combining the proven brightness and performance of Epson display solutions with the ingenuity of Kramer’s wireless presentation technology creates a compelling package for any corporate or educational environment.”
Other VIA GO features include wireless mirroring for iOS, Android, Chromebook, PC, & Mac; smooth 1080p60 video playback; 1024-bit content encryption; and the ability to present two sources on a single display for multi-participant collaboration.
Epson’s range of display solutions includes models all educational and corporate requirements, ranging from entry level units to powerful laser display solutions up to 5,000 lumens, designed for the largest presentation spaces. The range also contains ultra-short-throw interactive and ultra-mobile models, as well as complementary devices such as visualisers.
