You will also provide customer service as required to assist all meetings and for clients who require a technician to help connect audio and video conferencing calls.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

– Reporting to the on-site Team leader
– Full time support Monday to Friday Covering a shift between the hours of 8am to 6pm, working any rotational shift basis as required
– Provide service delivery across site against pre agreed SLA
– To be fully competent with all installed & portable technologies
– Administration necessary to support engineering role
– Liaise with Client Teams and agree daily tasks and activates
– Be fully competent with the use of end user videoconferencing equipment, with emphasis on the full range of VC products – Cisco & Polycom house
– Proactively train and support end users. Prepare relevant documentation for the purpose of training and updates
– Liaise with and manage relationships with third party suppliers on all technical issues
– Good knowledge of setting up PA equipment, mixing desks and live event environments
– Assisting with the setting up & supporting presentations and conferences and all events
– Test, check and ensure equipment is in operable condition prior to any meeting or presentation
– Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on Audio Visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate
– Attend and remain on station for important events; specifically high profile videoconferences and interview broadcasts until the event has concluded
– Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly checking and ad-hoc testing is carried out in accordance with documentation supplied by the manufactures
– Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first / second line basis and provide a work around, if problems are mission critical
– Manage consumables & stock holding spares etc

Reporting to – On-site Manager

Hours – Full time 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
