ISE brings new patch solutions from Bittree

At ISE 2011, Bittree will showcase a range of new patchbays and patching solutions that the company says allow integrators and audio and video specialists to achieve more flexibility in rapidly changing media environments.

Making their debut are Bittree’s Category 6 and 6A Rack Mount Patch Panels, which allow users to easily re-route gigabit Ethernet networks, as well as provide a demarcation and testing point for industrial and residential networks. The panels were, says the company, specifically designed to support commercial office data infrastructure and digital signage distribution networks, and will be available in 12, 24, 48, or 96 Rack Mount configurations.

The latest entry into Bittree’s video patching product series, the Micro-Video Patchbay provides what the company claims is the industry’s highest input/output density, with a 2×48 format in either a 1- or 1.5-RU size. It is said to be ideal for use in mobile production, outside broadcast (OB) vans, and any other video production application where space and weight are at a premium.

Bittree’s high-bandwidth video patchbays are designed to support 3Gbps and 3D productions, HD/SDI, SD/SDI, AES, and high-resolution computer graphics. With a new rear lacing bar and industry-standard DIN 1.0/2.3 rear terminations, the Micro-Video Patchbay Bitttree says that the Micro-Video Patchbay makes it easier than ever for users to install, organise, and remove wiring. The product’s unique design additionally features the ability to recess the front panel to prevent cord protrusion, further conserving space and ensuring reliable connections.
