Imago launches video communications recruitment agency

UK video solutions company Imago is to launch a recruitment agency specialising in the appointment of new personnel for vendors and resellers involved in the video communications sector. The new agency,, will be led by Imago¹s recently appointed International Recruitment Manager, Abigail Brown.

Brown joined Imago in May 201, to look after the organisation¹s recruitment needs in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain and the UK. She will continue in this role, whilst simultaneously developing, which will be headquartered at Imago¹s Thatcham, Berkshire office.

³Our own recruitment requirements have become very demanding over the years,² said Ian Vickerage, Managing Director, Imago Group. “To ensure we maintain the highest standards when selecting staff, we have implemented meticulous selection processes. Imago has always prioritised its employees as our ten year retention of Investors in People Certificate shows, and we have a great reputation as a developer of sales, marketing and technical talent in the VC industry.²

The new agency, which will operate from this month, will identify and introduce quality candidates including sales account executives, business developers, sales managers and graduate account managers along with technical specialists. All candidates will be assessed using specific recruitment processes such as psychometric testing and proprietary sales assessment tests.

³We are already using these selection techniques in our internal recruitment of staff very successfully,” said Brown (pictured), “and we are ideally qualified to extend this into an agency service aimed at other video communications companies. There is nobody else specialising in what is essentially a specialist sector, and we have a unique understanding of the requirements that vendors and resellers need in the appointment of new staff.²
