Gold sponsor announced for IT Broadcast Workflow

The fourth IT Broadcast Workflow conference from TVBEurope will move to the prestigious BAFTA venue in central London for the 13 June event.
It has now also been announced that AmberFin has come onboard as a Gold Sponsor for the event.

Returning again to support this year’s event, AmberFin was pleased with its participation at ITBW 2011. Bruce Devlin, Chief Technology Officer, AmberFin said: “The IT Broadcast Workflow 2011 conference was excellent (again) and I thank you for the opportunity we had to present. The presentations were of high quality and much of the post-presentation discussion was excellent. There were enough users, vendors and industry heavyweights in the room to cope with most ITBW topics.”

AmberFin specialises in solving file-based workflow problems for content owners, broadcasters, sports organisations and post production houses. The AmberFin Media Factory, based on the iCR family of modular software products, digitises and transforms new and archived content, combining a service oriented design philosophy with intelligent use of cost-effective generic IT. This enables customers to save time, increase revenues and grow in-line with business demands.
The conference is Europe’s premier event charting the development and adaptation of file-based operations in European broadcasting organisations.  With the convergence of information technology and traditional broadcast engineering continuing to take shape, any chief technologist tasked with building a broadcast infrastructure today would use IT solutions to power the bulk of facilities. Any CFO charged with making the business more flexible to new platforms, and more efficient in the process, would seek the automated and extensible systems that only IT can provide.  These strategic decisions are based on getting the technology choices right, not least if the station or channel is to be kept on air during the transition. It also implies significant change in the management of personnel.  The well established IT Broadcast Workflow event is dedicated to putting the facts before an audience of broadcast decision makers. Last year’s event was a huge success, attended by the likes of:  3sixtymedia, ARTE, Associated Press, ASTRA, Avid, Boxer Systems, Broadcast Center Europe, Canal Sur, Canal+, Council of the European Union, Deluxe Laboratories, Discovery Communications Europe, Disney Channels, Siemens, Sony Broadcast Europe, Sound Network, TATA Consultancy, Technology and Production Center Zurich, The Audio Suite, TV4 Group Sweden, TVI, TVM Ireland, Wellen+Nothen. ITBW 2011 speaker Bruce Devlin, chief technology officer, AmberFin said: “The IT Broadcast Workflow 2011 conference was excellent (again) and I thank you for the opportunity we had to present. The presentations were of high quality and much of the post-presentation discussion was excellent. There were enough users, vendors and industry heavyweights in the room to cope with most ITBW topics.” Register now to attend this year’s ITBW conference at BAFTA and take advantage of the special early bird price before 1 May. www.broadcastworkflow.com
