Originally made available in 1987, Scala Players are currently running and updating content on more than 300,000 screens in 7,500 networks across more than 100 countries.

Scala’s chief executive officer, Gerard Bucas (pictured), told II: “This is a significant milestone for Scala because it demonstrates a strong, continued demand for digital media. Scala continues to grow the market for digital signage technology, and we are dedicated to helping customers achieve maximum value from their digital media networks.”
