Integrated Systems Russia expands

Integrated Systems Events and its Russian partner MidExpo yesterday announced the expansion of its Moscow tradeshow into a second hall for 2012.

Integrated Systems Events and its Russian partner MidExpo yesterday announced the expansion of its Moscow tradeshow into a second hall for 2012.

Like the existing Pavilion 1, the new area in Pavilion 5 will be divided between ISR and its co-located show Hi-Tech Building. Digital signage will represent the majority of the ISR component, but the organisers stress that the event is increasingly being seen as a single entity, driven by the convergence between professional AV and building automation.

“We have always seen the co-location of ISR with MidExpo’s established Hi-Tech Building show as a major plus for both exhibitors and visitors,” said Mike Blackman, managing director Integrated Systems Events. “What we saw in 2011 was a tangible cross-pollination between the shows, with the two sides of the hall essentially coming together as one big, buzzing B2B event.”

These claims are reinforced by the statistics, which show that 9898 attendees came to ISR and Hi-Tech Building in 2011 – compared to 8154 the previous year. This increase rise believed to be a reflection of a dynamic local market and a new venue that has proved to be entirely suitable for the show.

ISR 2012 will take place from Tuesday 30 October to Thursday 1 November at Moscow Expocentre.
