AudioForum at ISE features AES67, AVB and Dante

AES67, AVB and Dante will all be on the agenda at AudioForum @ ISE - a new one-day conference dedicated to integrated digital audio transport and protocols.

AudioForum @ ISE takes place on Monday 3 February at the RAI in Amsterdam, the day before the ISE 2014 exhibition opens.

Organised by Italian publication Connessioni, the AudioForum project is dedicated to protocols and systems of integrated digital audio transport – a highly relevant topic in the systems Integration world, and one that is not covered elsewhere in the ISE 2014 conference programme. The first AudioForum event took place at the SIEC convention in Milan, with the support of the SIEC (System Integration Experience Community) trade body.

AudioForum will start with a Welcome Breakfast from 09:30. The morning seminar session begins at 10:15, with Mark Yong, standard manager of the Audio Engineering Society, talking about AES67 – a recently launched standard that is attracting a lot of interest within the audio world.

After the lunch break, Audinate will open the afternoon seminar session (14:30) with a presentation about the Dante protocol. This will be followed by Rick Kreifeldt, chairman of AVnu Alliance, with a seminar entitled ‘Certifying AVB products for interoperability’.

The last session of the day, bringing AudioForum to a close, will be an ‘open mic’ debate on transport protocols.

Free tickets are available up to Saturday 25 January. Registration is via the AudioForum website.
