Start-up Crowdbeamer makes new contacts

Hans Romaen and Peter Ryckaert, both founders and directors of start-up, Crowdbeamer, held a press conference on the first day of ISE 2017 last week to introduce their brand new solution to the market.

Crowdbeamer uses a private WiFi hotspot to connect separate devices together so audiences can see a speaker’s lecture or presentation material on their personal screens, such as on smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Those individuals can then capture, store, annotate, export and share the information as they wish. Crowdbeamer has a four hour battery life, making it ideal for use in universities, colleges, and as it is fully portable, by tour guides that wish to share information on the go.

The company kicked off two years ago with the goal of launching at ISE 2017, and gained over 200 contacts from 25 countries at the show. Romaen enthused: “For start-up companies, ISE is a great place to launch and meet new contacts.”
