Crestron visioneers at ISE

Crestron says that it is introducing many exciting new ground-breaking products at ISE2011 – and the theme is ‘Visioneering’.

The company defines ‘visioneering’ as engineering the future, anticipating needs and resolving them before they become problems. Crestron says that visitors to the stand will see solutions for commercial and residential applications from ultra-slim touchpanels and lighting control, through to entry level integrated systems as well as the very latest in high end premium products.

The Crestron PROCISE is a professional audio processing product line that the company says creates a completely immersive audio experience. The PSPHD high-definition 7.3 surround sound audio processor is designed for both commercial and residential applications.

Also making an appearance on the stand will be Prodigy, a new line of home control products from Crestron. Prodigy is described as a simple to install, easy to use, and exceptionally affordable solution that does not require any special wiring, programming or expensive custom installation. Prodigy home automation solutions include home theatre, audio distribution, lighting and climate control.

Crestron says that its DigitalMedia 8G technology is the first true one-wire, high-output network, delivering unprecedented ultra-high speed and long distance transmission of all data, Ethernet and control, plus analogue and digital AV signals, with installation now faster, cheaper and easier than ever.

The new Crestron digital 24X8 multi-room audio system with built-in Sonnex audio transport technology is described as blending high-performance digital audio processing, full-matrix switching and high-powered amplification into a single component.

Making its European debut will be the GLPAC-DIMFLV Integrated Lighting System. Stand-alone lighting controllers for classrooms, conference rooms and offices, GLPACs directly connect to keypads and touch panels for easier integration and an enhanced user experience, says Crestron. GLPACs control four to eight channels of dimmable or switched fluorescent loads, and each unit can control a single room or up to four independent rooms.

Crestron is also showcasing its new line of ultra-slim, low profile, high definition touchpanels. Only two inches deep, Crestron V-Panels are claimed to be the thinnest available, and provide VESA mount installation in addition to desktop and flush wall-mount.
