Crestron focuses on functionality at CEDIA HTE15 July 2011
“The “The Prodigy line-up and Digital Media 8G were the highlights of our exhibit and were received very well,” said Crestron marketing manager Petra van Meeuwen. The company also received the winners of its 2011 Residential Integration Awards during HTE week.
Last month’s CEDIA HTE show saw Crestron highlight products from across its range. Specific solutions on display included Prodigy, which enables simplified home and entertainment control from any room in the house or ‘any place on the planet’; the new small footprint/slim profile Cameo keypads, also part of the Prodigy range; Crestron Sonnex, which allows the distribution of 64 channels of uncompressed 24-bit HD audio across a single-shielded Cat5 cable; DigitalMedia 8G+, the next generation of Crestron’s high-output, one-wire digital AV network technology; various Crestron lighting solutions; and the Crestron MC3 control system with all-new Core 3 control engine.
Away from the showfloor, the company announced the winners of the 2011 Crestron Residential Integration Awards during an event at the Novotel Hotel in London’s Docklands, close to the CEDIA HTE venue of ExCeL.
