Crestron exhibits collaboration solutions at Bett 201522 January 2015
Crestron has revealed a new range of collaboration tools for schools and universities at this year’s Bett show.
The company is showcasing AirMedia, its wireless HD presentation solution for classrooms and small lecture theatres. It features plug-and-play installation and brings presentation, collaboration and content sharing capabilities to classrooms that aren’t wired for an AV system. AirMedia enables up to 32 people to connect to an existing display over WiFi and wirelessly present HD content from their personal smartphone, tablet or laptop.
With moderator mode, lecturers can select whose content to share from the AirMedia webpage or Crestron touchscreen. In Quad View mode, up to four presenters’ content can be displayed simultaneously.
Crestron is also showcasing its new DMPS3-200-C and DMPS3-300-C all-in-one presentation systems with a built-in Crestron 3-Series Control System delivering HD performance and convenience in a network-grade appliance.
Crestron FlipTops facilitate room control and media connectivity from the lectern. Source connectivity for DigitalMedia applications, versatile touchscreen and keypad control, and power management enhance and simplify classroom technology.
Using the Crestron Connect It Presentation Interface (TT-100), anyone can connect their laptop or tablet device and instantly start presenting. Multiple presentation interfaces can be deployed to enable collaboration amongst several participants in a conference room or training lab.
Crestron Connect It works with Crestron DMPS and DigitalMedia switchers and can be interfaced directly with a Crestron Control System via Cresnet or through a DM transmitter via USB.
