CEDIA announces ISE education plans18 November 2009
CEDIA is to present a series of free daily seminars during ISE 2010, which takes place at the Amsterdam RAI on 2-4 February, reports David Davies. Courses will include ‘Technology and Consumer Trends’, ‘Riding the ECO Wave – Solutions for Your Clients’ and ‘Technology Trends in Home Cinema Audio and Video’.
Among the other sessions on the agenda are ‘Embracing the Cloud – How to Deliver Internet Content’, ‘Hiding Technology – Solutions and Techniques’ and ‘Get to Know CEDIA – how we can help grow your business’. All seminars will be hosted by industry experts.
In addition, CEDIA will offer a range of detailed, paid-for seminars in the training seminar rooms at the RAI. These sessions will include a day-long ‘Home Cinema Design Workshop’, ‘Selling to the Rich’, ‘Profit – the reason you are in and stay in this business’, ‘TCP/IP for Integrators’ and ‘Designing Infrastructure for Ethernet’.
Peter Aylett, CEDIA’s education manager, told IE Residential: "We are offering three days of paid-for courses at ISE which are themed along the following tracks: Home Cinema, IP and Networking, and Business Management. In these challenging economic times, the Business Management training will prove especially helpful for delegates keen to improve their business performance, maximise their success and explore new opportunities for their companies. Among the free courses which we are providing at ISE, we are sure that the ‘Riding The ECO Wave’ session will also be popular by identifying the key ways in which technology can meet the legislative requirements and satisfy growing consumer demand for cutting energy consumption in the home."
Tickets for the free seminars can be obtained from the CEDIA stand on a first-come, first-served basis. Delegates wishing to book a paid-for course can reserve a place on the ISE website (link below).
