Camvine to host cloud-based digital signage open days

Camvine will be hosting a series of open days throughout the summer to introduce fresh developments in its CODA (Content Distribution Architecture) cloud-based digital signage platform. Attendance is free of charge. The open days aim to bring existing and potential Camvine distributors and resellers up to speed with the new software-only distribution of CODA for distributors, reseller dashboards, using social media and product roadmap. For end users, there will be a special afternoon session presenting the latest customised services and a series of cross-sector case studies.

“2011 is an exciting year for us as we ramp up our channel partner programme,” said Steve Hales, head of sales and marketing at Camvine (pictured). “We have a number of new product developments such as the software-only version of CODA for our channel partners, easier integration with live content for end-users (such as SharePoint and Facebook) and the CODA player app on the iPad. The upcoming open days and subsequent roadshows are critical for business growth within the channel and play an important role in sharing knowledge with our partners. We look forward to hosting the open day events at our Cambridge office and around the country, and invite end users to come along and learn how they can benefit from cloud-based digital signage in their specific market sectors.”

The format for the open days, to be held on Wednesday 29th June, Thursday 28th July and Tuesday 23rd August, is as follows:

10:00 – 11:00 Latest/up-and-coming channel features (ideally for channel partners only)

* Dashboards – distributor and reseller dashboards for managing multiple customers
* Roadmap – a look at the Camvine product and marketing roadmaps

11:00 – 11:30 Coffee and arrival of end-users

11:30 – 12:30 Latest customised services and end-user related case studies

* CODAchannel – the new tool for media designers to easily manage live and sophisticated content
* Customised projects – working with Camvine’s professional services division
* Case studies from advertising – waiting rooms and the corporate world
* Integrating with live content – social media and business services
