Bose system for Liverpool Uni

test 14 July 2008

The Bose specification includes two Panaray MA12 loudspeakers, two FreeSpace3 bass units, eight FreeSpace DS16 flushmount ceiling speakers, four FreeSpace3 flush ceiling sets and the ControlSpace ESP-88 audio management system. Other equipment installed includes Cloud amplifiers, NEC plasmas and an AMX control system.

According to Apple Sound, state-of-the-art presentation facilities combined with a bespoke Bose sound system allow great flexibility, enabling different groups to access PowerPoint presentations or promotional DVDs simultaneously in different areas of the lounge. This area also features a dedicated video-conferencing suite.

The new facilities also include two new training rooms, designed for the delivery of staff training and development programmes.

“We are delighted with the new facilities,” said Lynn Westbury, head of the Foresight Centre. “As one of the first venues to actively seek to bring the university and external organisations together, the Hub is purpose-designed to stimulate networking opportunities in a relaxing contemporary environment.”
