Bitvu shows entry-level HD signage player29 January 2016
The ScreenSpace entry-level HD player for digital signage is being shown for the first time at ISE by UK vendor Bitvu. The ScreenSpace app can be used to control the player and deliver content. It provides a platform to create instant digital signage using any standard HDMI TV.
Content is delivered within generic, pre-designed templates, which enables local administrators to edit and update the media to provide timely and relevant communication with customers.
A range of features such as smooth animations and video are available through in-app purchase, along with a selection of industry-specific templates.
ScreenSpace works without Internet connection. The smartphone app connects via the player’s own local Dual Band WiFi. Secured with a QR code login, the media player measures 8cm x 5cm x 1.5cm. For scalability, both the player and the app can be upgraded to connect with Bitvu’s full-feature ScreenSpace connected server environment.
