Better for the budget and the environment: Hotlamps’ new re-lamp service

test 16 January 2007

Claimed to be an industry first for the trade, the new sevice is designed to save customers money and also be less harmful to the environment than replacing the whole bulb.

Hotlamps will install original Osram, Philips, APO, Sharp, and Ushio bare-lamps to ensure the highest quality standards. The lamps will be installed by Hotlamps highly qualified installation technicians who have undergone specific training and will offer a range of turnaround times including an express service.

All re-lamp enquires should be made to the Hotlamps sales team who will advise trade customers of the price, and if a re-lamp is possible. Hotlamps will send out a special re-lamp box where the existing lamp can be safely returned for ‘re-lamping’. The company believes this new service will complement its current offering of original projector lamp modules and APO branded compatible modules.

Business manager David Weatherhead (pictured) explains: “For large projector users such as universities this service will save them considerable money, while helping us complete our environmental objectives for 2007 to reduce the waste our services create.”
