BenQ to share vision at ISE

BenQ comes to ISE under its new campaign: “BenQ: A Vision of the Future”, and is showcasing the latest developments in its broad range of projectors that the company says support its goal to “Bring Enjoyment aNd Quality to life”.

Newest among the featured projectors is the MW881UST ultra short throw projector. Designed for education, it has a 0.24 throw ratio, delivering an 87” image at 45cms from the screen.  Short throw is a key feature, especially for schools, as it not only eliminates the problem of the screen being masked by the teacher’s shadow, but also minimizes the possibility of pupils being able to look straight into the lens when the projector is switched on.  It also gives greater flexibility in where the projector is placed.

With 2,500 lumens and WXGA resolution, the DLP-based MW881UST – which is said to be 3D-ready –  features a contrast ratio of 5,000:1.  It features a filter-free design for easy maintenance, and can be controlled via LAN.  Support is provided for PC-less operation via its USB connectivity.  Two D-sub computer inputs (shared witth component video) are provided, as are composite video in, s-video in, audio in and out and microphone in.  Audio from the MW881UST comprises 2 x 10watt channels. Closed captioning is supported. Audible noise is rated at 33 dBA, reduced to 27 dBA in eco mode.
