Central to the business model devised by developers Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), are Harman’s audio that were integrated and commissioned by German market distribution partner, AudioPro Heilbronn Elektro Akustik.
JBL loudspeakers, Crown Audio amplifiers, Soundcraft and Studer mixing consoles, AKG microphones, BSS Audio networking and dbx signal processing are standard issue for not only Berlin’s O2 World but the O2 Arena in London, the Nokia Theaters in LA and New York City and a host of new and planned venues around the world.

The fit out at Berlin’s O2 World includes the house audio system comprising over 70 JBL Venue Performance Series VP7215 loudspeakers powered by six Crown Audio I-Tech 8000 amplifiers; a Soundcraft Vi4 console with various JBL monitors and a BSS BLU 80 networked signal processor. The entire system is configured and controlled with Harman HiQnet protocol, which automates and simplifies complex audio system set-up and programming.

Events already staged at O2 World Berlin include the world championship fight between Samuel Peter and Vitali Klitschko and a Metallica concert. The first 11 events drew more than 155,000 visitors to the new arena.
