AWE wins two CEDIA Awards

Hilary Lawson, director of the Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO), selected AWE as Best Stand winner. Her criteria included design, use of space and responsiveness of staff. “The AWE stand had a number of different elements that attracted people, and straddling an aisle was a brilliant idea,” she said. “It was very innovative with colours, textures and sounds to appeal to visitors. The staff were working really hard to invite people in, something I was particularly impressed by.”

On offer to visitors was the chance to interact with a range of products, a full home cinema demonstration room and a Formula Palmer Audi single-seater race car, which promoted the company’s Motorsport Sensation race day.

Stuart Tickle, managing director of AWE, said: “We are delighted to win these two CEDIA Awards. This is a reward for all our staff’s hard work over the last 12 months and it’s great to have this recognition from our industry peers. What makes it even more special for us is that they were both independently selected, one by CEDIA ESP members and one by the AEO.”
