Awe Creative agency launches12 January 2017
A new full service global marketing, design and content agency for the AV industry has been launched by former NewBay managing editor Jo Ruddock, and industry marketing strategist Lee Moss.
Awe Creative is aimed specifically at the AV, broadcast and edtech sectors offering a range of services including marketing strategy, PR and editorial content, social media and event management.
Lee Moss comes to the business from a major AV reseller where he spent five years creating and implementing marketing strategies with ROI at their core. He also has experience of organising supplier/manufacturer conferences abroad and acted as a spokesperson for the company to press and other outside organisations.
Jo Ruddock joins from NewBay, one of the world’s largest media and information companies. Here she spent nine years as managing editor of the company’s AV and pro-audio portfolio, which includes brands such as Installation, Tech&LearningUK and PSNEurope. During this time she launched new events, print titles, websites and digital products, and worked on a number of industry newspapers, including The ISE Daily and The IBC Daily.
Moss, director at the newly found company, commented: “We feel there is a gap in the market for a global consultancy that truly understands the needs and challenges of these industries. By utilising our knowledge of the market and our contacts across the globe, we are able to offer a unique level of service and an unparalleled contacts book.”
Ruddock added: “We are excited to be embarking on this new adventure and look forward to working with our clients, creating bespoke strategies that will help to develop their brands and grow their business while facing the challenges and opportunities that may lie ahead.”
The pair are joined by account manager Richard Graham who brings with him a plethora of marketing knowledge and experience of the AV, healthcare and retail sectors. Awe Creative also boasts a network of partners across the globe ensuring it can offer global insight and a tailored approach based on geographic as well as vertical needs.
