Sony has confirmed it will once again be exhibiting at ISE (February 6-9) – using the event to showcase the way it’s AV products and service are transforming the way people work with each other, in both corporate and educational environment.

The Japanese firm, a regular at the RAI venue in Amsterdam where the show is held, will focus heavily on collaboration and sharing of content, with live demonstrations and simulation environments taking place on its stands during the three day event.

One example includes Sony’s ‘campus’ stand, which is designed to guide visitors through a range of different settings such as the workplace or the lecture hall, showcasing Sony’s integrated solutions in action. AV professionals will also discover how Sony is transforming the way people work with each other, in both corporate and educational environments.

“We’re incredibly excited to show visitors at ISE how we can work together to help people improve their experiences in everyday life, be it at university, in the office or at home,” said Damien Weissenburger, Head of Corporate and Education Solutions, Sony Professional Solutions Europe. “ISE always provides a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our AV partners and talk about how we can create better solutions and experiences together.”

Key messages from Sony during the show will include:

  • The collaborative future of learning. The tech-savvy students of today are looking to discover their own way of learning. Sony is working together with educational establishments to create active learning solutions that encourage creative collaboration, social interaction and group evaluation. At ISE 2018, Sony will be showcasing its co-operation with The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) to deploy state-of-the-art education technology across the University’s different campuses in order to create a cutting-edge learning experience for students. Sony’s Vision Exchange is a collaborative solution that encourages freedom and supports students with active learning, and will be showcased in a dedicated education space on the stand.
  • Corporate efficiencies take centre stage. Corporate organisations run at their best when efficiency is placed at the heart of their information flows. All the while putting business, brand and culture front of mind. Sony’s cutting-edge range of solutions on show at ISE will demonstrate how businesses can work together to schedule and monitor content across networked screens, projectors and display – it’s about connected AV devices. Sony’s complete room management solution, TEOS Manage, transforms the way employees and visitors work with each other by streamlining their workspace experience. By interconnecting, automating and controlling all connected devices, working is simplified, collaboration is enhanced, and facilities management is optimised. Visitors will be able to experience this first-hand in the corporate area of the stand.
  • A display without limits. Sony will showcase its incredible, bezel-less Crystal LED technology on an 8K by 2K display. Uniquely scalable to super-sizes for a truly immersive visual experience, it is designed for commercial, automotive, retail and entertainment experiences. The display offers corner-to-corner image uniformity for both brightness and colour, and can achieve viewing angles of virtually 180 degrees. It also produces imagery with 10-bit colour depth, has a brightness of 1000 cd/m2 (1000 nits) and a wide colour gamut of approximately 140% of sRGB. Crystal LED will be on display for visitors to experience first-hand.
