AV manufacturer Christie has revealed its plans for ISE 2019 (Feb 6-9), which includes showcasing its last range of laser phosphor projectors, plus a brand new videowall solution.

The Christie Crimson Series of 3DLP laser phosphor projectors, includes two models (Crimson HD25 and the Crimson WU25) each of delivering 23,300 ISO lumens (HD25) and 25,000 ISO lumens (WU25), 60Hz processing and are designed to ‘take on’ any large venue or staging event and to withstand the rigours of demanding, high-usage applications.

Christie says the compact models, are built with the technician in mind, providing quick and easy installation, quiet operation, 20,000 hours of usage, whilst also carrying an IP5X rating (protection against dust and air pollution), providing ‘years of reliable, low-cost, and virtually maintenance-free operation.’

The Crimson Series is also completely compatible with all existing J and M Series lenses.

Visitors to its stand (1-H70) will also get the opportunity to preview the company’s new value priced Christie Velvet CorePlus LED video walls solution (lead image).

The firm describes its as offering ‘unparalleled design’ and flexibility for a value-priced LED video wall solution, which it describes as being ‘perfect’ for public spaces, casinos, theme parks, houses of worship, broadcast, control rooms, and conference rooms among many other applications. Again, pricing – to back its ‘value’ claim – has not been provided at the time of writing.

Ranging in pixel pitches from 1.2 to 4.0 millimetres, it offers variable resolutions including 4K, is fully customisable with remote and on-board options, and can be both installed and serviced from either the front or back.

CorePlus includes a direct mount system, making for quick and easy installation directly onto flat walls – eliminating the need for an additional mounting structure and thereby further reducing total system cost.

Christie’s stand will also showcase the full range of Christie’s GS Series of high brightness, ‘affordable’ laser phosphor projectors, available in either HD (1920×1080) or WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution. The units offer ultra-quiet operation, compact design and versatility and can be installed in demanding spaces, closer to the audience, without impacting the audience experience.
