The ASP04 Cleartalk, which is available for demonstration on Angekis Technology’s Hall 15 ISE stand, is ‘the perfect portable and wireless USB microphone for videoconferencing’, according to the company. The Cleartalk ASP-04 uses a direct 2.4GHz wireless USB receiver and comes with a dock for wireless charging.
The plug and play wireless system features a full-duplex omnidirectional microphone, and is set to change opinions on wireless USB microphones, claims the company. No pairing is necessary; users simply turn on the speakerphone and plug in the wireless USB receiver.
Most videoconferencing apps will automatically recognise the Cleartalk as a USB microphone device. It connects to a wireless USB dongle up to a 9m range over the 2.4GHz channel – which provides 10 times more bandwidth than Bluetooth, says the company.
