Revolabs, part of the Yamaha UC department, will be showcasing its “market-leading unified communications (UC) solutions”, during ISE in Amsterdam, with special focus on its Yamaha CS-700 video sound collaboration system for huddle rooms and Yamaha’s YVC-1000MS UC  Microphone and speaker system.

“Technology managers are dealing with a growing number of huddle rooms and small meeting spaces that must accommodate more and more off-site meeting participants. That’s why Revolabs has put great emphasis on solving the most perplexing UC challenges, namely streamlining workflows and installations — improving the quality of experience for users,” said Mick Kamihara, CEO of Revolabs. “Our UC customers have been asking for an easy-to-install, easy-to-use UC solution with excellent video and sound, and they have it in the CS-700. ISE 2018 marks the first time we’ll be showing the new CS-700 in Europe, and we expect a warm reception.”

Yamaha CS-700

The Yamaha CS-700 for huddle rooms is an all-in-one wall-mounted UC solution engineered to simplify installation and deployment while ensuring the highest quality audio and video in huddle and small meeting spaces.

It is the first solution that optimises audio, video, and collaboration capabilities in a wall-mounted system, creating an intuitive meeting experience.

It also includes  an adaptive beamforming microphone array, which its designed to “guarantee” that every word is perfectly captured and delivered to the far end; four Yamaha speaker elements to provide the highest degree of audio intelligibility; and a wide-angle HD camera that captures every meeting participant in clear detail.

Through a single USB cable, it can connect to an organisation’s chosen UC platform, such as Skype for Business, Cisco Spark, GoToConference, Zoom, and “many others”.

This plug-and-play approach allows users to get started quickly without wrestling with disparate audio, video, and collaboration components.

Also at ISE 2018, Revolabs will demonstrate the Yamaha YVC-1000MS, a USB speakerphone and Yamaha’s first product certified for Skype for Business.

It is engineered with Yamaha’s “superior audio technology” and expertise to enhance the user experience in large meeting rooms, rooms with special table configurations, and remote education classes or seminars within the Skype for Business application.

Available worldwide, the microphone and speaker system passed the stringent Skype for Business Certification Version 3 tests — Microsoft’s highest standards — providing natural, clear audio that defines the platform’s meeting experience. The intuitive design provides fast, simple connection via USB to a PC and/or smartphone with Bluetooth. Meanwhile, Yamaha’s adaptive echo cancellation and other unique sound-processing technologies facilitate stress-free conversation.
