AVM gives Kennedys flexibility

UK system integrator Audio Visual Machines (AVM) has completed a project designed to both divide and link seminar spaces in the recently acquired Kennedys office spaces in Sheffield.

Kennedys, the specialist national and international legal firm, required their Sheffield presentation rooms to be equipped with the same audio and visual functionality as that of the headquarters located in London. A specific requirement was that the installations should be both easy to use and easy to manage.

AVM formulated a plan to divide the office space into various sections, allowing each divided space to operate independently or as one large presentation area. AVM has also installed wired ceiling microphone arrays instead of a wireless system which, the company says, offers the necessary flexibility but ensures that there are none of the issues associated with wireless audio technology.

Kennedys is currently in the process of deciding whether to proceed with videoconferencing and so AVM has provided an upgrade option for this system as well as the possibility of HD videoconferencing.
