AV Global Alliance expands15 March 2011
The AV Global Alliance – an initiative led by UK integrator AV Machines (AVM) – has expanded to 28 members with the addition of partners in Germany (Vidofon), Italy (Durante), Spain (Techno Trends) and Brazil (Eletro Equip).
The Alliance has a combined turnover of $3bn, making it, according to AVM, the dominant partnership of audio visual system integrators in the world. Members of the Alliance are, says the company, generally the leading AV systems integrator in each country and have been selected to join based upon their outstanding engineering skills and resources. The growth of the Alliance is driven by the widespread adoption of video conferencing as a tool to cut costs, improve communications and speed time to market.
“We are proud to have the leading AVSIs from Germany, Italy, Spain and Brazil joining the Alliance,” said Sandy MacPherson, chairman of AVM (pictured). “The Alliance now covers 32 countries around the world, strengthening our ability to supply video conferencing services.”
AVM says that it will continue to develop the AV Global Alliance by adding partners who are typically the market leaders in their own territories.
