Augmented reality KNX app from Bleu Comm Azur26 January 2016
Exhibitor Bleu Comm Azur EURL, showing with KNX, is demonstrating its augmented reality realKNX app at ISE 2016. Users simply download the app to their smartphone and by pointing their device to a lamp, for instance, can use their phone’s camera function to switch the lamp on and off.
Augmented reality allows the app to recognise objects from windows and shutters to curtains, the outlet of a climate system, a speaker, or even a swimming pool. It is possible to assign these real objects to any KNX function of an installation. As soon as an object is recognised within the app, the corresponding information will be visible and the slider/button/text/value will be usable directly in the camera picture. Interaction and feedback is immediate.
