AtoV adds 12 Panasonic projectors

Manchester-based AV solutions and rental company AtoV has acquired 12 Panasonic PT-DZ21K and PT-DZ770 projectors. The 20,000 ANSI lumen PT-DZ21K Series projectors are those that contributed to a spectacular performance for the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

“After significant research and bench-testing the latest projectors, we selected Panasonic,” said Allan Hindley, partner at AtoV. “As projection specialists we pride ourselves in creating the most impressive visual presentations for some of the UK’s highest profile brands. It was important to ensure the latest in 3D and geometric mapping, the highest brightness available, a compact form and high reliability. After our tests, we identified Panasonic DZ21K and DZ770 series as the definitive solution.”

The PT-DZ21K features 20,000 lumens of brightness, WUXGA resolution, 3D capability with quad-, triple-, dual- and single-lamp operation possible.

The PT-DZ770 is a DLP projector delivering 7,000 lumens of brightness at WUXGA resolution. Key features include RGB Booster for high brightness and superior colour reproduction, a Detail Clarity Processor for additional detail depth and clarity and a DICOM simulation mode for medical imaging sapplications.
