In conjunction with installer VCP Services and electrical contractor NG Bailey, Ateis UK has supplied an Ateis IDA VA networked PA/VA system to The American Express Community Football Stadium.

The 38-zone deployment at the 22,500-capacity new home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is driven via Ateis SPA series amplifiers. LAP G2 network audio processors were selected for control and DSP, while the racks were assembled by Ateis at its Devon-based HQ. The resulting configuration was acceptance tested by VCP Services and NG Bailey.

“The system had to comply with BS 5839, and covers 38 zones in and outside the stadium. We opted for Ateis due to its outstanding track record, reliability, and expert support and service back-up,” commented VCP Services managing director Vince Clamp.

“We were delighted to have been awarded the contract for Brighton & Hove’s new landmark stadium,” added Ateis UK managing director Neil Voce. “And to ensure sonic excellence, we allocated a single amplification channel to each loudspeaker in the bowl, which means we have been able to perform extremely precise EQ, resulting in a great sounding system.”
