Analog Way: Ascending to the summit

Installation Staff 11 February 2015

We at Analog Way take pride in developing cutting-edge technical solutions. We also know that our customers have businesses to run and results to produce. We challenge ourselves to help constantly improve their performance and productivity. Through constant innovation utilising module and scalable designs, we make our clients’ job as easy as we can. We will demonstrate it once again at
ISE 2015.

To that end, we will introduce the Ascender 16, presented for the first time at ISE. The Ascender 16 is the entry product of the renowned Ascender series of presentation switchers. It features 16 scalers, 12 inputs, and 4+1 outputs. Its modular design allows two units to be linked together to build a much more powerful system when necessary (up to 24×8+2 / 32 scalers / 16 true seamless layers). As with other Ascenders, the Ascender 16 can be upgraded to 4K resolutions or retrofitted into an Ascender 32 or Ascender 48 when required.

In addition, the Ascender 48-4K (ref. ASC4806-4K) will demonstrate the constant innovation drive of Analog Way. The Ascender 48 will be demonstrating the unique and unchallenged ‘Perspective Live Layers’ feature. This allows the animation of up to 12 real-time high-resolution PIPs with perspective viewing using X-Y-Z rotation control, designed to produce unprecedented presentations.

To leverage easy control of the Ascenders, Analog Way will showcase the new AW VideoCompositor, a solution designed to enhance the integration of our LiveCore processors into a Crestron automated environment. It provides full preview as well as advanced real-time presentation control on a standard Crestron touchpanel. This control module was designed to fill the need of system integrators pressed to produce, in a corporate environment, show systems comparable those used in the staging world. It is the most advanced and user-friendly presentation system available in fixed installations today.
