Armour Home system in luxury new-build

test 7 August 2009

The company’s Systemline Modular home entertainment system has been installed in a prestigious UK showhome. Located on the outskirts of the market town of Billingham, Cleveland, Kensington Mansions is a major new development of four- and five-bedroom houses.

In addition to installing pre-wiring in all properties, developer Bellway Homes has also invested in a high quality sound system for the showhome.

Described as a non-intrusive, discreet system, Systemline Modular enables the user to listen to or watch whatever they want, in any room of the house.

Systemline Modular technology partner E-LIFE has made five flexible packages available to homebuyers at the Kensington Mansions development, allowing purchasers to tailor their sound system to their requirements and budget.

Adrian Ickeringill – newbuild division sales manager for Armour Home – told IE Residential that the UK construction market is now picking up again after a “tough year”, adding: “Since its launch in 2004, Systemline Modular has become the system of choice for scaleable multi-room audio into the new-build market, and we are seeing an increasing number of developers part-fitting systems as part of their product offering and enabling the client to upgrade from a basic system. [Ö] When you consider that mortgage lenders are no longer allowing 5% deposit contributions from developers, there are few incentives that can be offered to the homebuyer that create the wow factor and differentiate one property from another. Systemline Modular does just that, with a high perceived value and lower entry cost in cabling and part-fit system.”
