Dutch sound system manufacturer Alcons Audio has brought an extensive selection of new and existing products to the PLASA Show, which is currently in progress at London’s Earls Court. Along with familiar products such as the LR7 micro line array and the LR7 Bass systems, Alcons Audio is exhibiting the new BC543 cardioid subwoofer. The self-contained triple 18” allows for cardioid pattern control by driven by the Digital Drive Processor in the ALC amplified loudspeaker controller.

Making its trade show debut, meanwhile, is the BQ211 high-power compact subwoofer system, which features an all-carbon-coned 21” woofer with oversized motor structure in a double-tuned bandpass configuration.

The company is also displaying the ACO Architect Colour Option program – which allows sound systems to be integrated into any interior through 180-plus RAL colours – and conducting a number of low SPL demos featuring the VR8 compact monitor and BF151 bass system.
