Addressing integration: D&M Europe launches dedicated division for commercial AV and CI markets

test 8 May 2007

DMi offers a comprehensive portfolio of products from Denon, Denon professional, Marantz and Marantz professional ranges, alongside Escient digital music servers, Opus multi-room systems, and Boston Acoustics’ wall, ceiling and outdoor speakers. The portfolio includes surround sound processors and amplifiers, DVD, CD and network media players, HD projectors, and LCD displays from the Denon and Marantz product ranges.

Escient’s digital media servers and music management systems are recognised as being some of the most advanced on the market, featuring iPod docking, internet streaming, PC file sharing, and massive HD storage. Opus Technologies’ multi-room AV distributions systems offer cost effective solutions, providing both ease of installation and comprehensive control.

The division is headed up by General Manager Mark Perrins (pictured), formerly General Manager of D&M Professional Europe. Commenting on the formation of DMi, Perrins says:

“D&M Europe has monitored the market carefully over recent years; in particular, the gradual convergence towards a more general custom and commercial install market, with common products, customers and support requirements. This has led us to the logical step of merging our existing Pro division with our CI sales operation, creating a division more clearly focused on customer requirements, with an emphasis on technical support.

“With an extensive portfolio of leading branded products for the commercial and custom install markets, our aim is to supply high-quality solutions with benchmark technical support, to ensure the cross-platform protocol issues are navigated more easily. As a dedicated division, we will quickly become a key provider for quality solutions to network source, and multi-room audio and video distribution.”
