Acclaim for Moscow digital signage event

‘The Digital Signage Conference – No Alternative!’ is said to have “exceeded all expectations” when it took place at Moscow’s Korson Hotel last week.

Organised by DigiSky, with digital signage/interactive system specialist Adissy serving as technical partner, the conference examined worldwide trends in digital signage and the advantages of the new technology over traditional methods of advertising and communication.

Guillaume de la Tour (Bluefox), Michael Stern (Imperative Group), Vladimir Kozlov (DigiSky) and Victor Osipov (WIPO – World Intellectual Property Organization) were among the distinguished speakers who participated in the event.

Meanwhile, an extensive demonstration included an NEC video wall, an Intel anonymous video analytics application, AOpen semi-industrial hardware player solutions, IAdea advertising media players and all-in-one displays, and DigiSky professional presentation solutions.

Among the attendees were representatives of IKEA, OBI, Melon Fashion Group, Sberbank, Lukoil, Rostiks Group and other large companies from the financial and industrial sectors, retail and HoReCa business.

The one-day event also saw some notable business announcements. Digital signage content producer Bluefox signed a partnership agreement with DigiSky, while Adissy became a distributor of MiniCom Digital Signage/EnQii.

The positive response to the event was captured by Scala’s Alain Bodenstedt, who praised “the correct balance of foreign and Russian experts. I think it makes sense to expand the conference to two days the next year.”

Summing up, Adissy CEO Alexander Pivovarov commented: “This conference is the countdown to the new stage of development of digital signage in Russia. We have passed the infancy period. It’s time to grow and make money.”
