A promising partnership: Paradigm chosen as 3M signage reseller

The agreement centres around 3M’s Vikuiti Rear Projection film, which is garnering significant interest throughout the industry. “This agreement fits very well with our strategic direction as a company,” says Greg Jeffreys (pictured), business development director at Paradigm, “because we see digital signage as an important market that we need to be in.

“We’re attracted by the 3M Vikuiti offering for several reasons. First, 3M are gaining traction in the market, especially since they added content management software to their offering. Second, the Vikuiti film is available in some useful maximum sizes – and we can tile it if we need larger real estate. And third, the Vikuiti film can be cut into different shapes, allowing for some really creative possibilities. There’s an excellent match between our unique expertise and experience in rear projection, and the capabilities of the Vikuiti film.”

Under the reseller agreement, Paradigm will recommend 3M’s content management software to prospective networked digital signage customers where appropriate.

“Paradigm is highly regarded in the front and rear projection industry with a global network of resellers and installers and a strong established customer base,” says Simon Birkenhead, sales and marketing manager, 3M Digital Signage Division. “We’re seeing the demand for in-window digital displays, especially custom shaped screens and large format digital signage, really taking off and the timing of this new agreement is ideal to take advantage of these new opportunities.”
