3D, HD session today at CEDIA Home Technology Show16 June 2010
BBC HD’s Ian Potts and Sky 3D’s John Dollin will address the emerging technologies in the Show Floor Seminar Theatre. The session is just one component of a busy programme at the Show Floor Seminar Theatre, which is part of the CEDIA Home Technology Event, running this week at the ICC London ExCeL.
Taking place at a time when 3D and HD implementation are the buzz of the broadcast industry, the session presented by BBC HD executive producer Ian Potts and Sky 3D product development manager John Dollin is scheduled for today (Wednesday 16 June) at 14.00hr.
Later this afternoon, architectural designer and TV presenter Oliver Heath will consider why ‘great green homes need great green technology’. As part of his CEDIA seminar (discussed in more detail in a separate interview in this edition of IE Residential), Heath will address the ways in which aspirational sustainability and good design can be brought together in a variety of media.
The programme for Thursday, meanwhile, includes a 3DTV technology briefing (10.00hr) and a post-show technology overview from Michael Heiss and Steve Moore.
The full seminar programme can be downloaded here. Availability is limited and offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
